So I've decided to quit smoking. I've been going strong for about 11 years. I'm up to roughly a pack and a half a day, that's 30 cigarettes or $7.50 a day. This is money that could be used elsewhere, and of course the health thing. Mostly I hate being chained to something. Feel worried, or strangely empty when I run out or thinking about quitting. So this is going to be an interesting next couple of months but the goal is to be completely nicotine free by the time of TheWife's birthday, August 30.
Wish me luck and any advice you guys have would help. (I don't want to buy the patches or gum because they are more expensive than cigarettes.)

Candy canes...
All year long...
Maybe something more phallic if that's what you're into.

There's an APP called "Quit Now" another of my friends is using.
It tracks how many days you haven't smoked, how many cigarettes you haven't smoked and how much money you've saved by not smoking.
