Deja Vu

Jade Plays: Deja-vu (part 1)

Back to episode list
I did Uninvited, I did Shadowgate, so it's finally time to play Deja Vu, the last of Icom's trilogy of point & click adventure games. Originally ported to the NES by Kemco, and again to the GameBoy Color, which is the version I'll be playing this time, because it's been paired this time with its sequel, Deja-vu 2: Lost in Las Vegas, which didn't receive an NES version. Very different from the other two, Deja-vu takes place in 1940's Chicago, as opposed to the fantasy settings of Shadowgate and Uninvited. Waking up in a bathroom stall in an empty bar, you find yourself having completely lost your memory. Your job, first and foremost, is to try and figure out just what the hell is going on.
